Account Deletion Policy

Furever Fit is a pet food and product scanner that helps you identify potentially harmful or unhealthy ingredients in pet products. This policy explains how you can delete your Furever Fit account, your pet profiles, and your associated personal data directly from the app, on the web, or by email. You can delete your account directly within the app at any time without needing to contact support.

How to Delete Your Account

You have three ways to delete your Furever Fit account and pet data. Choose whichever option works best for you.

1. In the App (Recommended)

1. Open the Furever Fit app and sign in.
2. Tap Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Review what will be deleted and confirm.
4. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

To remove a single pet without closing your account, go to Settings → My Pets → select a pet → Delete Profile.

2. On the Web (No Login Required)

Visit https://www.fureverfit.app/delete-account to submit a deletion request without signing in. This page is publicly accessible and does not require an account.

3. By Email (If You Cannot Access the App)

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, email us at privacy@fureverfit.app with the subject “Account & Pet Profile Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within thirty (30) days.

What Will Be Deleted

• Your Furever Fit account and login credentials.
• Each pet profile you created name, species, breed, age, weight, dietary preferences, allergies, and notes.
• Your scan history captured label photos, recognized products, and ingredient or safety results tied to your account.
• Photos and product images you uploaded to the Service.
• Posts, comments, ratings, and other content you submitted.
• Your saved preferences, reminders, and notification settings.

Scope of Deletion

We delete your account and associated personal data, except for limited data we must retain for legal, fraud prevention, security, or accounting purposes. Deletion may occur in stages across our systems, but all personal data will be fully removed within thirty (30) days.

Limited Data We May Retain

• Records required to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations (typically up to seven (7) years).
• Records reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.
• De-identified or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you or your pet.
• Encrypted backups, which are overwritten in the ordinary course of business generally within ninety (90) days.

No Location Data

Furever Fit does not collect or use precise location data, GPS, or routes, so there is no location information tied to your account to delete. The app does not request location permissions and does not track human or pet activity, fitness, or movement.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple or Google subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

• GoogleGoogle Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Furever Fit → Cancel.

Time Frame

We will permanently delete your account, pet profiles, and associated personal data within thirty (30) days of receiving a verified request, except for the limited categories listed above. You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
