By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the Service, keep your account secure, and deliver the scanning features you request. The categories below describe the kinds of information we may collect.

2.5 Device and Technical Information
We automatically collect technical information about the device and software you use to access the Service, such as device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, crash logs, and diagnostic data. This information helps us operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2.6 Usage Information
We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as features you use, screens you view, scans you perform, and actions you take. We use this information to understand product usage and improve the Service.
2.7 Payment Information

We may receive limited transaction information (for example, transaction identifier, subscription status, and renewal status) from the app store.

- Successors in interest, in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, or similar transaction, subject to confidentiality and to the protections in this Policy.
- With your consent, in any other case where you direct us to share information.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers for their own marketing purposes.
7. No Sale of Personal Information; No Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (“FDBR”), or comparable laws in other US states.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Furever Fit uses internal artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to recognize labels and barcodes, match scanned products to our database, classify ingredients, and surface potential safety concerns. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to improve those internal models, our ingredient database, and our safety-flag logic.
We do not use your account information, pet profile, scan history, photos, or other user content to train third-party generative AI models, and we do not provide that information to third parties for that purpose. Where we engage third-party AI service providers to support specific Service features (for example, image recognition), they are bound by contracts that prohibit using your information to train their general models.
9. Cookies, SDKs, and Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, security, preferences, and analytics. Our mobile app may use software development kits (“SDKs”) for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and similar operational purposes. We do not use cookies or SDKs for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable, you can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, and you can manage operating system tracking and analytics permissions through your device settings.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
18. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access by emailing privacy@fureverfit.app.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that we do not own or control. This Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or actions of third parties.

We may send you service-related communications, such as account, security, transactional, or policy notices. These communications are part of the Service and you generally cannot opt out of them while you have an active account.
We may also send optional product updates, educational content, or marketing emails if you opt in. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing privacy@fureverfit.app. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or in-app preferences.
22. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy and post the updated Policy within the Service or on our website. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law, such as by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and delete your account.
